No noise from my Sabertooth

I recently built a Sabertooth kit and all seemed to be going well until I plugged it in. At first nothing worked, no light, no sound, nothing, but then I noticed there was a loose wire and re-soldered it. After plugging it back in, I could get the light to turn on, but still no sound (both bypassed and on). I have gone over everything that I can think of (though that is a limited list because of how new I am to this) ; I went over connections that looked like they could be dry, checked all my wiring over and over, still I could not figure out what was wrong. I looked up the transistors I'm using (2N3904 Vishay) and it looked like maybe the pin outs were backwards so I switched them on the board, still nothing. I do have an old analog multimeter, but do not know how to use it (willing to learn thoguh).
Here are some pictures of the project, I can take more as needed. Any help would be much appreciated.

If you aren't getting anything in bypass, it would have to be either your wiring, or possibly your switch. But double check your wiring. I believe your transistors are backwards.

I've looked over the wiring and it looks like it's done correctly (of course I am the one having problems, so what do I know). Is there anything glaringly wrong that you can see in the pictures? How would I go about testing the switch? The light turns on when I turn it on, so I don't think it's the switch (unless it can be partially broken).

We usually recommend that people take some time and look through the "how to get tech help" thread here. Before I list all the usual recommendations I would make, have you had time to look through that? If not, carefully read through that and then try and see if you can give us some more data. http://www.madbeanpedals.com/forum/index.php?topic=902.0

As Ian mentioned, if you have no sound in either Bypass or when the effect is engaged, your wiring is definitely not correct. I realize that it's frustrating, and it may look correct to you, but it isn't if bypass isn't working.

I recommend that you eliminate the switch wiring entirely at this point. If you can make the circuit work without the switch, then you know it's the wiring alone, and not anything wrong on the PCB. To do this, wire your Input Jack directly to the PCB's input, and your Output directly to the PCB's output. Make sure that your 9V is also connected. Make sure that your PCB's Ground, your DC jack, and your input and output jack's are all connected to each other also. Once that is done, and your pots are properly connected as well, you will have eliminated the switch, and we can get the circuit working correctly. Once that is done, we can help you wire up your switch so that the whole thing will work correctly.

Don't loose hope! We're here to help, and we'll get you working soon.

So I've rewired it like you said (I think) http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a395/zombiesamurai/Sabertooth%20Kit/IMG_3859.jpg , but it still doesn't make any noise. I did turn the transistors around, thinking they were different pin out, I guess my next step is to switch them back and see what that does.

EDIT:
I switched the transistors back around, still nothing.

It looks like you might have mixed up the tip and ring on your input jack, but it's hard to tell.

In those illustrations of stereo jacks, the solder lugs are directly opposite the corresponding ring and tip.

In THIS pic, you appear to have your input wire soldered to the lug adjacent to the tip.

I'd try moving that input wire to the other lug to see if you get sound.

Another thing, and it's unfortunate you've had to do it so often, is that soldering and unsoldering those transistors may have damaged them. They are not really very durable, and if you solder and unsolder them as often as it seems you have, it's possible you've damaged them beyond being useable. I can't guarantee that's a problem for you, but it's a possibility.

I have to say, that your wiring is very suspect to me. Both your soldering on the PCB and the soldering on the wire seems to be quite poor. I know that's not very nice of me to say, but the first thing I think of when I see that is that it's probably pretty likely you've got poor or cold solder joints all the way through there.

Can you take an measurements with your Multi Meter? How about building an Audio Probe?
