New Bass Day!  I had my eye on one in the store and the owner had agreed to take my banjo off my hands plus a little cash on my part for a Squier Classic Vibe Jazz Bass.  I was talking with my buddy about it and he asked me to consider trading with him (he wanted the banjo).  So, I got this bass instead.
It is a Classic Vibe 50's P Bass body with a MIM Precision Bass neck with upgraded tuners.  He even went as far as to buy a new neck plate.  The neck feels nice.  The pickup sounds good to my ears (a little noisy but I was sitting directly in front of the computer monitor). 
I'm not a bass player but I love to listen to talented bass players.  I now have no reason not to learn!!  I looked up a lesson on the following website and built an audio demo around the lesson.  I have a long way to go;)

My wife would love that!  Sadly I'm not a singer.  I was forced to take individual voice lessons for 2 semesters and my prof said not to pursue singing....my wife will have to just settle for the porn stuff;)

She's a great dog - Rhodesian Ridgeback.  Best dog I've ever had.  Her name's Penny Lane.
Jimmy- hipshot worth the upgrade?  Supposedly the Classic Vibes have a 'Hi-Mass' bridge.

Really enjoying playing the bass.  Here is what I worked on today.  Also in this clip is my 'new' Tele Thinline Copy with 2 P90s (Douglas Gravity with a WD Fat neck).  Really enjoyed playing it as well.  I've been playing a bit more and building less.  It has been refreshing...but I'm starting to get the itch.  Printed a Glitterattii and Grapevine on Press N Peel blue tonight;)

The 'Wiggle Chair'  The chair is interesting and though the dog makes it look comfortable, it's not that great.  I'm not one for fashion but it really clashes with the green walls! LOL.  We are currently in a house decorated in the 70's.  Sadly no shag carpet:(
