Does anyone here know of a 1590A reverb build? I know that Dave (pickdropper) has the Hall Spawn but I have never done any SMT stuff. I have a friend looking for one and he wants it as small as possible. I tried talking him into the Moodring but he wants a 1590A size if possible. Thanks in advance.

I think it would be really hard to fit all the springs in a 1590A.

:D, I actually have the opposite problem. I have to periodically hold myself back from building a plate reverb. It would be so cool, but so big.

On a maybe more helpful note, you might be able to do it with a project based on the Spin Semi IC.

I bet. It looks like it might be a tight fit. I might try and do a eagle design...

Yeah no joke. I over drilled most of the holes to let as much wiggle room as possible.

So I started doing this last night and in your mod notes is says "Jumper pin 3 of brick > 5.1K". Does this mean use a >5.1k resistor instead of the jumper? Also would you have any gut shots of the finished build? just curious really.

wait.... how do you manage to get a brick on a 1590A???, or it uses a delay to produce the echo??

Here is a picture of the board populated but I did not take any pictures of the pedal before I sold it to a buddy... who since got his gear stolen in Santa Cruz. I still look out for the pedal online. haha

Awesome! thanks Cody. That certianly did answer my questions. Good idea using the Tantalum caps too. I bought the tiny Electrolytic's from Paul and they were still a little big. Thanks tho. I had to order a new 1590A from small bear (BLMS was out)...miss drill :'(. Just goes to show after 2 months off I still can't get a drill pattern right. :o
