I recently saw an awesome Foxx Tone Machine and felt like doing something with fabric.

I took my Tonepad Blue Box and had a friend do some embroidery to make a cover.
This is the first time I've done fabric work on a pedal.  It's not too hard, but you have to be careful about how much spray glue you use.  The stuff works really well so you don't need a lot and if you use too much it'll dry out through the fabric and just look crusty.

Nothing special, just fun with fabric.

That is fantastic -- the stitching totally pushes it over the edge!

That's gotta be a first! An embroidered enclosure  8)

Well there you go. Thinking outside the box, it's definitely something different. Nicely done. I don't know that I have ever seen a fabricated tonepad pcb.
Pedal building is like the opposite of sex.  All the fun stuff happens before you get in the box.

This is so awesome. I love the stitched labels!

An embroidered pedal enclosure cover? What are you guys gonna think of next? Great work!

It's glued on?

So no washing it after heavy use, I take it...

You know, you see so much cool stuff around here on a regular basis that at some point you think "ho-hum...saw it...bought the t-shirt...", even though I'll never hope to match it.

THIS!  This is just too cool.  The creativity around here is astounding...

Yeah it's glued on.  The fabric soaks in the mojo; why would you wash it out?
