i love it, you just gave me an idea for a chasis for an amp... i have some kevlar in my house... so i will cloth bulletproof my chasis(when i make it), maybe i could tey a small pedal,, first, since kevlar its really hard to cut, i remember last time i used a scissor to cut iron laminates, and the kevlar detroy the scissors...

but man what a great job.. i really love it.

Nice hospital corners :)

Growing up, Mum was death on anyone who didn't use hospital corners when making their bed.

Ice, I've seen one or two builds with fabric covers (Cdog did a en-fabric'ed SHO, IIRC), but this is the first one I've seen with stitching and embroidery! Was that part computerised? If not, it's very neatly done.

I'm not actually sure how it was done. One of our friends is always bringing my wife pillows and shirts and junk like that with embroidered stuff. So i decided to ask her to actually make something of value and do up a pedal.  I'll ask and see.

I've been digging all the killer non-traditional enclosure jobs lately. I won't be satisfied until I see some leather though, or fur. I don't eat meat, but for some reason I want to see a fur enclosure. What the hell is wrong with me?

I did the embroidery for the pedal for icecycle66.  The trick was finding a font small enough to stitch out nicely.  I used embroidery software to add and position the letters.  I took some rough measurements for the first iteration of the design.  Once the design is created, it goes on a USB that goes into my machine.  I stitched it out a few times to check the position.   We'd make small changes and I'd tweak the design and re-stitch.  The application looks great!

Agree, looks great!  That adhesive is death to work with though...!

Man, I've done plenty of fabric covers, never occurred to me to get them stitched/monogrammed beforehand...that is way cool!!!
