Yeah, Tayda has lost it's allure lately.  Quality components (passives and actives) are readily found at Mouser, Digikey, Newark, Smallbear, for about the same price.  And yes, BLMS is top notch for standard enclosures and switches plus Lawrence is the shiznit to deal with.

As far as Tayda goes, I keep coming back for the PCB mount 16mm pots.  Pretty much half price from what you can find them for anywhere else.  With the coupon code it makes it even sweeter.  Wish they had more values in "A" and "C" tapers for 16mm PCB mount.

sadly i still need to do most of my shopping at tayda, even if the shipping has effecively doubled. none of the outfits mentioned is available to me and musikding/banzai are all sorts of expensive.
