Card Table Moderation?

I build guitars on an old old brown vinyl card table. even has rust on it for extra mojo

Jimmy, I may set mine out in the weather for a few weeks!  Hadn't even considered adding rust!! Brilliant on your part.
Also, I forgot to mention that I built a 'paint booth' that sits on a kloan table, that's gotta impact the tone as well.  I got mad intuition:)

And I thought I had an addiction, Wow, you got me beat. I sit (set?) my enclosures on top of an empty can like canned vegetables come in. Works really well for painting and drying.

So can someone explain the whole card table thing. I've heard it used loads in the forum but I don't get the reference to klons

There was a long article with an interview with Klon creator Bill Finnegan and in it he made a point about the original Klons being built on his card table.

Thanks, so that's the secret and that's what I've been doing wrong. For years I've been building on the floor of the guitar room. Better head down to ikea...
