Paper for etching

Hi guys,
i would like to know if i could etch boards with normal paper, would it came out decent or is it a total waste? What kind of paper should i use? Also, laser or ink jet printers?

You need to use the "shiny" or glossy paper. I have seen people used magazine pages before. but once again it needs to be glossy with minimal printing on it.

Also, one question for cody deschenes: do you think i could do six of those 3pdt boards of yours, in a 10x5 cm copper board? Bescause i think they are 25,5 mm height so it would not fit two rows

You might be able to get away with it if you don't include the boarders.

Yes. Some magazines have very glossy paper and I believe i saw an instructibles page on doing this.

Sterling Ultra Digital Paper...the best I've used...

I second that paper. I works quite well for me too.

Hey Cody, What setting is your printer on?

The only setting I changed on my printer is the density level (which is located in the printer hardware menu and not in the software) I changed mine to "5". I do not change any of the print settings when using the printer. 99% of my printing is from Adobe Photoshop CS6. Hope this is of some help.
