I knew I liked you, Brian! There's an old boot from NJ, Oct. '78 that makes me mess my pants every time I hear it. Was that an over-share?

that will be a 99% comletely insane guitar player with 6 arms and a 9-neck-guitar, which can be played simultaneously while performing a handstand. And there will be 12 million single notes played on every average cd with 45min playin time....

Trey Anastasio and Phil Keaggy.

Make it Trey from before the millennium and that be a beast!

I'll go with Jimi Hendrix and Thurston Moore.  That spawn could probably write an entire instrumental album for electric guitar that never used a single note.  Long live the noise!

Well, since we are posting videos... I don't know who to pair him with, because he's pretty perfect on his own.... Duke Levine. I want his tone.

jkokura

This is the tone that haunts my dreams.

Yeah man. Keith tends to have some pretty killer tones. Great player too. And while his tone is more twangy, Brad Paisley can also shred some riffs with the rest of 'em. Don't count out the country boys!

aziltz

i do dig me some keith urban riffs.  he puts on a good show.  I only wish he would rock a little more.  he has such great potential.

Hell yeah! do you have his solo album? I have the originl vinyl and the Rhino CD.

I thought Trucks and Hazel were the most interesting pairing of my favorites. But it was hard for me to leave my favorite off, (but he wouldn't get any better cloned with another guitarist)
