 Hi guys, i want to up volume of boost in lavache. Watching schematic i think if i reduce R5 (3.3M to 2M) it will increase volume.

What do you think?

The 3.3M is to prevent a pop when the boost is switched. When it's in the circuit, there's there's no boost. Making it 2M won't change that. When the boost is switched, the AC gain is maximized because the capacitor bypasses R4, which is already quite small.

If you want a bigger difference between the boost and the stock effect, you will have to make R4 bigger, but this will also lower the gain of the effect when the boost is switched off.

Also, changing anything to do with the boost won't do much for the volume. The volume of the effect is going to be capped by the forward voltage of the diodes. When the boost is switched on, you get more gain, which then gets clipped more. It's ye olde headroom issue -- if you're already hitting the headroom of the effect, adding gain isn't going to make it louder, it'll just make it more distorted.

yes, just jumper the pads, to always have the boost on
