Hi all

Anyone know of a flanger circuit not based on hard to find/ obsolete chips?

I was thinking it might be doable with pt2399 but perhaps the delay time is too long?

I'll be curious to see what you think of it.  I've never built it myself

I can't imagine it'll be spectacular, what's wrong with the BL/V3207, they're not obsolete or that hard to find.

Yeah...

But I was messing with the echo base and got an almost flanger ish sound.  And it's 2399, so I started thinking it might be cool if it could be done.

Plus I want to do an smd layout for a flanger, one of these days.

Right after I posted I figured I couldn't be the first person to consider this, and did some searching.   Matts link was probably the best I could find.

I have some ideas and it might end up being a hybrid with thru hole 3207 since there doesn't seem to be an smd package.
