Ooo, that is nice :) Nicer than mine anyway (but then, I was going for a rough-as-guts look.)

How are the two pickups? Classic Plus'es? I'm finding that my single filtertron has forced me to learn wth the tone knob is for. If you do, then it's very flexible.

They are actually great.  There is no tone control, but there is a treble bleed cap switch in the volume control.

I'm going to play with it as is for a bit.  If I find I need a tone pot, I won't have any issue drilling a hole and adding it.

Using pedals as currency is awesome. I got the TV Master that way!

Cabronitas are sweet. Looks lovely mate  8)

Also another fan of the TVJ Filtertrons *thumbs up*

Sorry, but I'm sending you a Paypal invoice for a new keyboard on this one.  I sprayed a mouthful of Leinenkugel Red after reading that line.  Damn fine looking guitar and I've been lusting after a cab since they came out.  Thinking about doing a bridge pickup only but with a wrap-around tailpiece instead of the normal strat hard tail.

Has anyone seen the new Slick GFS guitars?  Stupid cheap and about as fundamental as it gets but look interesting.  Earl's starting to look like a tomato that's been in the sun too long but damned if he isn't marketable these days.  I recall a Rod Stewart concert back in his heyday that was pretty much a write-off till Slick got his solo of the night and it cut a swath about 300 feet wide thru the crowd.  Nothing fancy but I'd never heard the guy play anything remotely interesting (especially on his Lennon stuff) till that point and I'll carry that night around for a good many years.

The GFS stuff always makes me slightly suspicious -- you get what you pay for, quite often (with strongly diminishing returns as the investment goes up, mind you!), and they're so cheap I have to wonder how they can break even, let alone make a profit.

Maybe they make their real money selling parts to TMG.

Well, the ebony neck proved too much for me.  It was wide and thick and I have wrist problems.  After playing for a while, my hand would go numb so I'd have to stop.

I came across another neck with proportions that suited me better, so I swapped one my mini phaser pedals for it.  It's a very nice Guitar Mill neck with some nice birdseye figure to it (probably not too visible in the picture).  Since it was drilled for Sperzels, I decided to use those instead of putting the Klusons from the other neck on there.  I'll use those somewhere else.

Oh, and I really dig the TV Jones pickups.  I feel like it's taken me too long to discover these.

Where is this magical place where all of you seem to be able to trade your pedal builds for fabulous guitars?  :-\

Bad ass! I think it looks a little bit better with the maple.

Very nice.  Think I'm gonna get a Warmoth baritone fatback neck for by Blackie, and stick either Filtertrons or Powertrons in it.
