Hi,
I'm going to build the Pork Barrel and i see that I make a wrong purchase.
Now I have a MN3007 and a MN3102  :'(
The questions are:
could I use the MN3102 with the MN3007 (instead of a MN3101)?
What will be the right position of the jumpers?
And what about the diode D4?

Thank You
Andrea :)

Scruffie

You can use the 3102 as long as you don't intend to run above 9V.

Jumper as per the MN3007 and Omit D4.

Thank you so much Scruffie!
I feed my pedalboard with a Trex chamaleon
but it is set on 9v..so It should work
Ok for Jumper and diode
I'll make a try

Thank you
Andrea

I'd still check the 9v output with a dmm to be sure.
I'm not aware of the trex is it a regulated supply?
If you want I'll send you a 3101 I have a few spares.

Without checking the datasheet from memory I think it's 10V Max & 11V Terminal so there's some leeway.

Hi everybody.
I follow the Scruffie's instruction.
But the pedal doesn't work.
During the test I used a Danelectro acdc adaptor (9.6Volts).
So the pedal works in truebypass
The signal also passes trough the circuit
but there's no effect ( only a lower  and clean signal).

I apply the mod for the blinkin' led (and the led is blinking!)
Moreover the MN3102 becomes hot!!

When I change the regolations of the pots
they change the speed of the blinking but, like I said, no effect

Thank you Kipper4 but i live in Italy  :)
(Oh..and, obviously, sorry for my english) ;)

Huh, let me check again, the 3102 should be okay there same as it is with the aquaboy deluxe...

ok thank you!

Bean tested the 3102 with the 300X BBDs and I can't see any difference in how the pork barrel & aquaboy dx power the clocks.

What voltages do you get on it? Also, where did you actually get the chips?

I get the chips on musikding.de
Sorry but I'm a newbie
I've only a multimeter.
Whick pins I've to verify?
thank you

Scruffie

I'll assume they're legitimate then.

No need to apologize :)

Right, black lead to ground, probe the red lead to pins 1 - 8 of the MN3102 on the 20V setting of your meter.

Hmmm. I remember that I used a v3102 with a v3207. I don't know if I tested an MN3102 with an Mn3007 but it has also been two or three years. I think probably not. I'll have to review the datasheets/docs to see what I did.

If all else fails, we can get you an MN3101 one way or another. But, I'd like to solve this too, if possible.

Ok the voltages are :
1=9,54
2=4,62
3=0
4=4,67
5=8,9
6=2,38
7=9,06
8=0,35

There's an oscillation of values on pin 2 and 7
(i checked with the "circle sign" of the opamp in upper position :))
Thank you

Very kind of you  :)
