Hi y'all, i'm currently putting together a live pedal board rig, one of the most important thing i had to do... ...was getting rid of the huge footswitch that my amp comes with.

Since i'm only using the clean and lead channel, FX Loop bypass, i made a FS in a 1590A and that cable that gets a stereo to mono splitter to enter the amp switching jacks.

It's a boring built, but the saving is not! ;D

I did'nt use new 3PDT for this, salvage/fail box comes handy in those moments, switches that had faulty throws now recycled!

recycling FTW

Nice utility build

So... instead of a surplus 1590A you now have a surplus Mesa footswitch.
What are your plans for repurposing that one?  ;D

I think she'll simply become good friend with the closet.... ;)

Looks like it'd make a nice doorstop in your mancave as well!  ;)

Great job on the minimization, btw!

Nice PTP wiring though! Is the Mesa switch big enough to put an epic looper into?

I could probably fit 2 EpicLooper in it, but it's staying like it is, footswitch of a first production year Mk4 worth some dough ;)

Love the little sausage resistors!  ;D

But seriously, with all the breadcrumbs in there, that amp is a mess! You really should make it presentable before taking a picture...  ::)

;D ;D ;D

Man, to have your patience... can't even imagine it...

Mini-footswitch FTW. I've eliminated the FS completely for the Twang King as I don't need it. Instead I made this to turn the trem on and off:

Gnomepage - DIY effects library & stuff in the Stompage bit

This thread is very inspirational.  Great work Rej and Juansolo.  Quick question:  where does the power come from to light up the LEDs?

From the amp, there's 4.5/6v coming from the tip from the opto switching system or relay in other amps.
