Spark plug wiring question

There is a led pad on the pcb. Is that for board mounting a led, or for the + side of an led like the jmkpcb's?

The LED pad should be connected to the + pole of the LED. It's just, because the LDR is board mounted which makes wiring a little bit neater. The negative wire is soldered to the 3PDT as normal

It is for wiring to the + of the LED. R16 is the current limiting resistor so you do not need to add a resistor.
