Hi all!

anybody knows what is the purpose of R21 (1M) in the new version of Green Bean fat mod?

thanks in advance,
Emilio.

having yet to be able to see most of a schematics functions, perhaps it is to stop "pops" when switching or added to the different caps for filtering just a guess.

That is exactly correct. It will minimize popping on the switch.

Thanks for the fast response Brian & Blearyeyes.

This trick works in general. If you ever have an SPDT that pops use a 1 - 10M resistor between the two outer lugs. The resistor lets a little bit of current through- not enough to effect tone usually, but enough so that the jump between states is softer.
