I also modded everything i possibly could in a VJr head that i had traded for a pedal.

Don't know if you changed the «response caps», but that only is a major upgrade.

My favorite mod so far on it is the Negative Feedback switch, gives a completely other amp to play with.

Only thing i have left to do on mine is changing the OT, otherwise i think the only thing remaining from the original components is couple resistors.

This thread inspired me to finally get one of those Epiphones myself. Still stock at the moment, but already like it quite a bit. Got the head + cab for $150 (trading in two Marshall OD pedals). Now researching mods
