I've spent a lot of time playing with these, and I haven't found a good spot that had as much info as possible in one place. Though they're not the most common LFO these days, I figured some people might have some questions, thoughts, or ideas about using or modifying them. Feel free to jump into the discussion there or here. Here's the thread:

Thanks for the link Jon.

I always like your write ups/ circuit notes and that was no different.

I also love this LFO (it has a nice sine wave-shape), so more info the better!

There is a really good application notes by AD or TI somewhere about the different types of sine wave oscillators. I will try to find it. PSOs have been very handy but i've seen a lot of quadrature oscillators in time based effects.

Wasn't that hard to find. First google hit!

Great link, Jake. Now that I know there's an oscillator called the 'bubba' I'm going to have to find something to put it in.

Also, the sine & cosine designs look like fun. Anyone seen them used together in an effect?

The whole top part of this "effect" uses a bunch of sine wave LFO's with wave outputs at each 45 deg phase shift. Wild design; always wanted to adapt it for a smaller package...
