Actually, I came up with another idea that may involve adding another big IC. It's either really clever or incredibly stupid. I'll have to put this whole thing on the breadboard now to figure out which is true

or an LM324N?
....actually I can't really tell how many pins there are...hmmn...

Looks to me like it has 14 pins...so definitely not a PT2399...a LM324N perhaps...

I'm going to put the "deluxe" idea on hold for the moment as it will take some time to flesh out. However, the basic effect is just about finished. Two more hints:

The two little boards can be plugged in to the main board.
One of the controls on the main board is called "shimmer".

Also again, the Zero Point makes me think of stargate atlantis, which makes me think awesome. Cause now I can have my star wars echobase plugged into my stagate zeropoint. Also, we need a startrek pedal of some sort. Perhaps the phaser?
