The solution was easy!:P
Removing the bloody plastic caps from the pots solved the case!

I assume you put some tape on the back of the pots to prevent shorting?

Recently I'm ordering from Banzai. Sometimes i order from Tayda but takes 3 to 4 weeks to arrive, plus the lottery with the customs!:S

Just to let you know: reichelt has low profile caps a well as musikding.

Yes mate! i've added a double layer of tape on the back of each pot...and it worked just fine!

I think I built about 4-5 1590a before I discovered low profile electros, I feel your pain

Its for this reason I pretty much only ever use low profile caps now.  One less factor to worry about
