Just finished a LPB-1 vero with trimmer.  Works like a charm.  Doesn't seem to color the sound at all.  Picked up the trimmer and 2N3904 at RS

Sweet. I've got one in with a klone modified for bass
Pedal building is like the opposite of sex.  All the fun stuff happens before you get in the box.
