Checking Caps

 Hello someone know how can i check if a cap doesn´t work, when the cap is on the pcb. ?

I don't think that it's the wisest thing to do. In most cases, you should assume a capacitor does work. If it doesn't, it's best to take it out of the circuit and measure it's capacitance. Some Multi Meters have this function. Barring that, you can try and replace it with a known working cap.

It is hard to measure a cap in circuit because usually there are other components that provide a pathway around the cap and mess with any measurements you might make. You might be able to take an IC or transistor out of a socket to isolate the cap - if you have a schematic handy to check.

If it is an old electrolytic say ten or twenty years old, I would just replace it if you think it might be bad - it is near the end of its life expectancy anyways.
