I just got this one: It's a G&L Ascari.  Finely crafted in Indonesia.  :-)

The hardware is actually really nice on these.  It has a TonePros bridge and tailpiece.

Pros

- It plays really nice.  The action is so low I might actually raise it, which I generally don't do.
- The pickups sounds great.
- It's really light.  I haven't weighed it, but it is certainly below 8 lbs.
- I really like the paint job.  It doesn't seem like as much of a bar top finish, like some of the imports have.
- Overall, the overall fit and finish is quite nice at this price point.

Cons

- The nut needed to be filed and lubricated a bit because the G and high E were catching.  No big deal really.
- While the pickups sound good the neck is slightly louder than the bridge pup, so I am playing around with height a bit on them.  I've dialed it in closer, but I need to get some longer screws for the bridge pickup so I can raise it a bit more.
- It's a 3-piece body.  I think that's reasonable for a guitar at the right price point.  I am not really sure how much difference it really makes, but some may care about that.

So far, I like it quite a bit.  I think I'll like it even more once I finish dialing it in.

That's nice! I never knew G&L made (or better: let other people make) guitars like this, but I like it, a lot!!

That's one cool axe!
How do you set pickup height, from the back?

Yeah, it's a weird one for them.  It's set neck 24 3/4 scale guitar, which I believe is the first one they've done.

It is adjusted from the top of the pickup.

That is a really great looking guitar. The natural/amber - black burst is my favorite. The binding is a really nice touch, too.

Really nice looking. What's going on with the toggle there? No nut attachment to the body?

jkokura

Me: "That's a nice guitar, right?"

Wife: "I like those floors."

There's a nut, it's just countersunk, which is a nice little touch.  Some folks complain about the toggle location, but it hasn't caused me any issues, yet.  Not like the volume knob on my Charvel.
