I tried that before and it was even more fiddly than with throughhole components. I just hold it down with tweezers while tacking it, works fine.

Wow, just want to say thanks for telling me to order from Small bear. out of the 25 there are 3 that are probably going to be used as singles and all the rest are fairly close or matched perfect.

the Tayda ones... I only got 5 and every one was off by .5-2v
