Can anyone hazard a guess as to what is going on here?
http://this1smyne.com/shop/timelinemod/

Inside the Timeline there are SPST soft-touch switches.
You hit the centre and either the right or left simultaneous to "bank" up or down.

How is this acheived seperately with two footswitches using a TRS jack ?

Any ideas welcome. Ive tried some combinations using croc clips and couldnt get functionality like T1M describes

cheers

Both switches would have to have a common connection (sleeve and lug 1 on the switches). Then you just have the other connections attach to either the ring or the sleeve and lug 2 of the banking switches.

Remember that stereo TRS jacks exist, too, if you need to switch two connections.

Hmm let me try that.
I think I mighta already tried and failed but I can have another go.

Edit. that doesnt work.
If you connect lug 1 (black) of both switches to sleeve, as soon as you press the switch on the pedal itself (not the auxillary banking switch im trying to implement) it changes banks! not the desired effect.

arrgh making my head hurt

Trouble is I need to know exactly what the bank switches are doing.

Actually, if you have to hold BOTH switches, then I really think that the stereo TRS might be the way to go, but then you need DPDT momentaries ... I think the Alpha ones are clickless (if the Alpha ones are what are in the Wampler pedals).

ok I can get it to bank up and down with DPDT switches but that involves 6 wires... which a standard TRS jack and patch cord cant supply unless im mistaken....
