Swirling paint friends..

Hey guys.
im finishing a swirl paint in one of my pedals and there is always some drops of water that runnover the paint after removing from the water. This leaves some little spots where the water ran over...
I don't have compressed air to remove the water from the top...
any tip?

Ive seem a youtube video where the guy just sprayed the water surface with a hairdryer prior to removal
