Tonepad CE-2 clock noise

I finish a Tonepad CE-2. Sounds very nice but I'm having clock noise...

I run the wires of the pots beneath the Pcb, dc jack on top...

I was going to pork barrel but i wanted to use a 125b enclosure.

Any tips on killing this tic tic tic?

Insulated wire and shielding tape may be a good start.

Maybe you could try to add road rage and run it on 15v. Recently I did Tonepad ce-2 for an friend and I solve ticking with that.

A Road Rage is more likely to add noise, it has a clock which can heterodyne with the MN3101, although yeah it can be used but it's not a good solution to this issue.

jimilee is right, shielded wiring can help, neat wiring, if you used wired pots no crossed wires and as short as possible leads.

Properly filtered power too, not sure what kind of power supply you are using.

I'm just feeding with 9v a regulated one that I use.. And it's quiete silence

I try to move around the wires and yea in some positions the tic tic deseapears...

The wires from the Pcb to the pots are a bit long because I add to flip the board...

I will try to add a shield sheet between the Pcb and the wires and maybe use some isolation tape

I just eliminate the noise when the effect is on but on bypass.... Tic tic...

I installed a shield between the Pcb and the pot and ground it and changed the board Connections in and out with shielded cable..

I will try to swap the wires that goes to the jacks with the same wire...

Same thing.. Even with the connections to the jacks shielded same noise

The boom from Tonepad indicates a tl022 but I didn't have any so sub with a tl062

Now I'm lost..

I have tried both 022 and 062 and didn't notice big difference between them..

I install the 062 because that's was indicated in the pork barrel...

Maybe you could try to raise voltage to 15v, cause i had same problems with collosalus flange and ended suppling it with 12v instead 9v and with changing few diodes like Brian sad, clock noise was gone.

And the noise that you had was on bypass?

The routing of wires with a CE-2 can be important, especially with the Pork Barrel or Tonepad projects. Do you use board mounted pots of did you wire in lugged pots? Try adjusting those wires and see if the noise gets better or worse.

Is your board in an enclosure? Perhaps if it's shielded the noise will get better as well.

Nope, noise was when effect was on..
Did you try buffer in front of it?

Is the tick related to the rate? If it is it's most likely your LFO and shorter neater wires will help.

Have you used input grounding, that will help in bypass.

Upping the voltage with a doubler most likely wont help, that was specific to the collosalus.

Can you explain the input grounding?
I all my pedals I use Brian wiring diagram...
