When you wire up your 9v battery..

How do you guys get such tight windings on your battery clip? I wind it by hand, but the coils just look sloppy and loose. Thanks!

I use a drill.

Wrap the bare ends with a little tape. Tighten the jaws of the drill on to that. Then hold the snapend as you slowly use the drill to wind. Pull it gently away from the drill as it's turning for best results, and go slow. Let go of the clip end if things get out of control.
