Built using LaceSensor's layout and most excellent instructions, on a PCB etched by Haberdasher. I also need to give props to Soldersqueeze of the Madbean forum for sending me some Futurlec 2A LDRs gratis, you da man! For reference we used LM324 / LM358 in LFO side and TL074 / TL072 in audio side.

I omitted the expression pedal and dry out jacks because I'll never use them. Theres a bit of a twist on the pots as that's how they went in. As it was uniform I left them as they were. Oh and the indicator LEDS aren't soldered in on the top of the board pic, which is why they're wonky.

That's fantastic man! You guys worked out the ticking?
Pedal building is like the opposite of sex.  All the fun stuff happens before you get in the box.

On the LP Dop build, no sadly. Tried and tried but just couldn't track it down. It did sound bloody brilliant though, which is what made my mind up to bite the bullet and transfer the salvaged parts to this. No ticking on this one.

God damn that's a beautiful gutshot. You also really nailed the graphics and the finish looks immaculate.
Glad to have helped on this one (in the slightest way possible!).

Beautiful..... you should really do a demo :)

I wish I could find somewhere to buy that kind of pcb for etching, the ones I have are boring brown...

Drop Haberdasher a PM, I'm sure he'll let you know where he gets them from.

We shoudl be able to get a demo sorted at some point. But it does sound the same as Lace's.

I have already made a significant side by side demo.

Great build Juan. Like the graphics.  Try 2k on the spans if you get bored.

Awwww. I was looking forward to seeing two... er... lovely ladies on the front.

Nice work, although I notice that what wires we can see are not quite up to the usual Juan and Cleggy standard! ;) :)  :D

Awesome.  What size box is that?

Maybe this will encourage me to finally build up my board.  But I doubt it.

There's no solid core in this one due to the way I had to assemble it (see below). ;)

It's a ludicrously tight fit in a 1590D (the deeper one), I had to file the board a lot and it's still in there at a slight angle. So all the wiring had to be done as it went in and planned... Hence the colours so we knew what was what as it all went in there. They're all still cut to length mind you ;) But with the ability (barring the power jack) to all come out if it hadn't worked first time.

Really worth it though. It's a unique and great sounding phaser. Plus you could always wimp out and put it in a bigger box... ;)

Does the 2k make the HF Span more apparent? The LF span is spot on, but the HF seems quite subtle.

The HF is always quite subtle regardless. The 2k spans will give you a bit more depth in both controls though. You dont lose anything from the 1k sounds, just gain a bit more at the extreme of the pot rotations.
