Pedal Board Power Supply

I've read some of the threads about DIY Pedal Power type devices and I'm wondering if there's been progress on such a project that would allow an average Joe like myself to tackle it?  I've gotten pretty good at following instructions and building things but I need PCBs and instructions.  My pedal board is in need of POWER and my One Spot gets a bit noisy.

Problem is that PSU projects involve mains voltage, which makes people jumpy about other people working with it.

Nothing any more dangerous about it than building any other pedal and can be configured many different ways.

That one looks interesting.  Anyone have experience building it that could give me an idea how well it works (is it less noisy than my One Spot) and roughly how much parts will run?

It cost about $50 (not including shipping costs) to build depending on options chosen. I have built one and sold it and am building a second now.  There is no noise, its dead quiet.

Very cool.  It looks like I could easily turn that into 9 outlets instead of 7, correct?  Any chance you could share the parts list?

I can't share the parts list. That is part of the agreement when you buy a board. But he will provide that when you buy the board, it is a very detailed list complete with Mouser part #'s.

I did seven outlets because that was what I needed. Depends on how complicated you want to make it.

The AMZ Power pc board can supply the following:

    +18v filtered power (depending on your wall adapter voltage)
    Multiple +9v regulated power outputs (enough to drive 10 or more pedals)
    Low voltage sag output for dying battery simulation (optional)
    Negative 9v for PNP boosters and fuzz boxes (with optional Voltage Doubler pcb)
    and more!

That does help.  I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth building rather than just buying one off eBay.  You say it was about $50.  Does that include the PCB, enclosure and parts from Mouser?

$50 will cover everything but shipping costs for the version that I built. That is the board, enclosure, parts from mouser, and the wall wart power supply that powers the unit. Shipping could add another $15 to $20 to the total.

If you added every option you could add another $15 to the total.

I built the last one in a 1590bb enclosure, I am doing this one in a 125b.

I hope to finish mine at the end of the week, if you like I can post pics then.

I'm wondering about isolated grounds.  Is there some way to define what pedals might require an isolated ground and which don't??
