Clear coat on powder coated enclosures

Hello guys.
I've got sometime ago one of the beautifull Ben's enclosure and I've checked before if I could clear coat it after adding a waterslide decal.
Well, after the clear coat, and wetsanding, everything looked perfect! The proble is that now, after 3 weeks, it seems that im having an "alligator skin" , it showed very sutil, but is there!
anyone has experience in clear coating a powder coated enclosure? im using anc acrylic automotive lacquer. (I always use the same lacquer and never got probs with other surfaces)!
any comment will be really appreciated!
