egodriver led prob

this one has me stumped, i recently finished my 2nd ego build "1st one was for a friend and it turned out awesome so now i want one" everything seemed fine "sound-wise" until i hooked up the led, after i wired up the led there is a noticeable drop in gain, anyone ever heard of this?

i'm not sure how the LED would have anything to do with it. 

Sounds like something is loose or is grounding out when it's not supposed to.  Pics?

just for the hell of it i changed from a dpdt to a 3pdt stomp and now its fine

Wait...how did you have and LED indicator wired to a DPDT?

led was wired to the board not the switch
