A populated PCB is like a small city

Whenever I am soldering a pcb and populating it with components I feel as though I am building a small metropolitan city. 

That is all, just a random thought as I solder on a Saturday morning.

It would be cool to have a functioning board that is also a model of some real city skyline.

Yep, I think the same thing when populating boards. For SMD boards, it's like a city but from a greater altitude.

It looks exactly like an oil field power plant. So that would be the fuel production center for the region.
