MadBean's Green Bean!

I used a On/Off/On SPDT for the comp, so it's Ge Ass/Lifted/Si Sym.

Bright and Fat switch, stacked OpAmps (JRC4558D/TL072)

Green enlightned tone pot   :D

Hey Rej, nice as usual!! I'm having a hard time figuring out the 3PDT wiring scheme you used, care to share a diagram? Looks like a great way to make wiring those b@st2rds a bit neater!

Sure thing, it got all the same advantages than Brian 3PDT wiring, just a different configuration, still bring the FX input to ground when in bypass.

It just works neater for me...

Here's the thread with some discussion about 3PDT wiring and the different options.

Thanks dude, that's pretty clear! I think I've gotten thrown off a bit by the lighted pot and the corresponding wire from the switch....

I've seen this stacked op-amp thing before but didn't know the rules. Can you just stack them any time you want? What's the benefit/ effect?

From what i hear, the biggest benefit for me is when the diode are lifted, OpAmp clipping happens later than with a single opamp...but that could just be an illusion that i've created in my mind.

I've also noticed greater headroom or more width in the sound if i can say... when running the pedal at higher voltage....

But...main reason that i simply like to see some opamp humpin' action...lol
