PPP Germanium Transistors

Has anyone ordered the NOS germanium transistors from pedal parts plus? I am wondering what kind of gain ranges you receive. I usually get my germs from small bear but he is running real low on a lot of the gain matched pairs.

These are for two Zombii builds, do the gains really matter that much? The germanium section looks similar to a fuzz face where correct gains are pretty important.

I threw two oc-44's from ppp in my zombie and it worked fine. I also built a fuzz face with their oc-44's and it worked as well. I can't remember what the gain range was.. I think they were both pretty low but they still worked.

Thanks. I just bought the pairs from SB though. I will probably try the PPP stuff in future builds.
