Mudbunny mid pot

I have searched but found no answer on the forum: is there a reason for the disappearance of the mid pot on the last version of the Mudbunny?

Yet, I'm surprised by the fact it is not directly on the board anymore, all the more since it seems to be a popular mod. It's not a big problem for me as I have a few Mini Muff pcbs with the Mids pot, I was just curious.
