I'd like to build a lofi loop junky.
It's a single loop looper from zvex with tremolo and 8bit sound treatment of the loop.
I'm a huge zvex fan ;)
I can't find a full schem anywhere. I only know it uses a isd1000 op chip.
This box costs 400$ i simply cant buy it  :o
I dont know if someone has built one. Such a challenge!

I don't know too much about the insides of this one. I do have a design for the Mobius Trip Looper which is similar, but I've never got it working properly.

Smallbear carries the ISD1020AP, which is the one I have. I don't know if the ISD1000 can be had anywhere....actually, I don't really know the difference between the two.

IIRC, ToneGod has a looper design that's similar.

Yep, here it is: http://www.thetonegod.com/tech/payback_v11/payback_v11.html

This has got some great projects: http://www.thetonegod.com/tech/

Thanks madbean!
I'll try a similar project instead of the original one.
There is so much lack of informations on the zvex box.

I bought a PCB of the Mobius Trip Looper off of Madbean last year. I slapped it all together and got it working. The 'record' footswitch and 'play' footswitch can be funny sometimes (like it doesn't work, unless I unplug the power from the pedal, and then plug it in again). It certainly does the lo-fi loop (minus the tremolo like the loop junky) quite well. I followed the documents from DIYStompboxes. And I used the ISD chip from Smallbear.

I really should snap some pics of it. Haven't come up with a design for it yet.
