Can I sub an OPA 2134/2604 for the TL072 in the Afterlife?

I'm out of 72s.  Would the higher current draw hurt anything?  I have a bunch of TL071s but they're singles and I'm not sure just stacking two would do the trick considering the pinout.  I also have some LM833s and 2772s and JRC4558s.  Any of these acceptable/superior or do I need to go the the spec'd TL072?
Thanks, Frank

Always better to check.  I don't plan to do it, but what about putting two of the 71s together?  How would I tie them so the pinout would work in a standard DIP socket, or is that just not doable?

Doable, but not worth the effort. You'd have to do some off board stuff, and you may as well use another IC, as you wouldn't save much in the effort.

Interesting.  I was just wondering.  I ordered some TL072s a while back and got some 071s by mistake.  I don't really have anything to use them in.
Thanks, Frank

Are you in the UK? If you are I have some spare TL072 chips.
