Just built a skweeker and picking up radio stations with it?

Just built a skweeker and picking up radio stations with it  . It's definitely more than one station at once. It's not too loud, but say I touch the metal part of my null pot or I put my finger near the wires/diodes it will become really loud. I'm using really old OA85 diodes and fender telecaster and also a mustang bothw/ single coils. Anyone know why this happens?

Is it in an enclosure or out? What power are you using it with?

Put it in a box and use a battery and see if you still have problems. Then try using shielded wire for in and out.
