Fatpants v2 - funny voltage..

So i built a couple of fatpants v2, one for a friend who loves my clean sound, and one for me to use day to day at uni, so my trusty old servant can go back on my main pedal board (there is also a third - which is going on my mini board - but that one is fine so i shall not talk to much about it!).

So they have all spent a little time in my test rig, 2 worked straight off the bat, one.. not so much

So, this is the deal, i've got 9.2v on the 9v pad, 9v on pin 1 of the max1044, 9v on pin 8, and 4.5v (ish i'm in bed now - i'd had enough for tonight!).

Swapped out the Charge Pump, to no avail. checked all solder joints for bridges, reflowed solder everywhere, check for broken tracks (one copper pad did come off the connection for lug 2 of the volume pot, but i patched straight to where it should go, signal is fine there with the probe anyway).

Bizarre, I think D2+D3 are next on my list to be swapped, when i get a chane tomorrow night.

Any ideas anyone?
