Momentary bypass switch with buffer?

I'm really enjoying the feel of the momentary switch on my Multiplex and was wondering what the best approach to using one of these in place of the standard 3PDT switch. I've seen that Jack Orman has something like this (I think?) at Muzique, using a relay to provide true bypass. I've been wanting to experiment with a couple of different buffer circuits on a daughterboard in an upcoming build and was wondering if I can use his momentary switch/true bypass system to accomplish this, OR if there is a better, cheaper solution. I'd definitely still want an LED indicator, if that matters.

Any thoughts?

You could just put the buffer before of after the relay bypass circuit.
