Hi guys
wondering if this will work if I change the resistor to A2 and A3?(per madbean)
if so does the ground need to still go from A3 to B3?
any suggestions are greatly appreciated
Thanks

No that won't work. Give some time and I'll post a lesson on how 3PDT switches work.

Check out this post I made today. This explains how I wire up a 3PDT switch and in a general way how it works. If you want a better explanation of how switches work, go here:

Yeah, that was my diagram.  I was misinformed on how to do it, and I didn't discover it until after I created that diagram.   :-[  Gotta pull that image.  Jacob hit the nail on the head with this.

Thanks for the info Jacob
I will try to wrap my head around your wiring
...so resistor is on top middle lug, also
thinking the right middle lug is used to go to the other switch(Krankosaurus)
thanks for your time

I was hoping for a "resistor on the switch solution"
it looked nice and clean...bummer it doesn't work
thanks for your time

Yeah, I really liked the "resistor on the switch" solution.  Actually, all four of the Krank builds I've done have been like that.  So there's still a part of me that wonders why it seems to have worked vs. whether it's really not doing anything at all and the voltage going to the LED isn't getting any resistance, but if the latter is the case, will the LEDs wear out faster?  I dunno...

My pleasure to help, even though I was wrong.  ;D
