Thanks Josh, i totally agree on the knobs, anyone aware of a trick to relic those? other than letting Pepsi dry on them? Hahaha

I've had good luck throwing things in my pockets with keys/change.  Unless you wear "skinny jeans"  8)  Then you'll have to opt for a bag of bolts or other goodies.

I have a jar with all my aluminium drilling chips, that i keep to mold my own enclosure one day....

I'll put them in that.... :)

Looks awesome, Rej!

I used the Fuzz Face resistor calculator here, to set all the ones I made with those transistors, and despite different gains, they all sound the same and decay nicely.
That one needed a 35K R1, but the one in it is a 33K that measures 34K, close enough.

I've had much better results with this method, than using a trimmer on Q2.

Hey Rej, i don't know if it would work with aluminium, but i have used a cup of tea (no milk or sugar :)) to age guitar knobs,works great, who knows, might work on aluminium.

That calculator is awesome! No approximation at all....love that!

It's going to be usefull, Going to build couple of these....it generated a certain enthusiasm in the Germanium Fuzz crowd... 8)
