2012 Boneyard advice needed

Hi all. I've built the previous design boneyard and i had no problems with squeal/oscillation . I've just built the 2012 version and i'm getting the squeal on the high gain channel. I've tried it after a klon clone I have and the squeal goes so i'll build a klon buffer into the circuit as described by others already. That should sort it.

The thing i'd like advice about is the clean boost. I built it onto the 2nd 3pdt switch as per the build doc but when i engage it there is a very audible pop. Is there any way i can get rid of this? if i need a PDR to get rid of it where do i fit it? (I already have a 2.2M installed on the actual PCB as per the doc.)

Did anyone else experience this? Any advice as to how to get rid of the pop will be greatly appreciated.
