Change pot value?

Hi, I've ordered the wrong pot value by mistake. I got a 20k instead of a 10k, how can I change the value?

Add a 10k resistor to the outside lugs. You'll have a 10k pot, but the taper will be altered slightly.

Actually you want to add a 20k resistor to lugs 1 and 3. this will yield around a 10k pot.

The best I've got is a 22k will this be close enuff do you think?
