Colossus bodge help needed

It's been a while since I majorly screwed up a project, but my luck ran out and now I need some help...
When building the Colossus I used the listed values for D4, D5 and C26 without reading the suggested replacements in the build document (yup, I'm a dumbass!). I decided to remove these components and replace them, and in the process managed to destroy a couple of solder pads and clog up some other with solder. *sigh*. I now want to solder these components jumpered to points to the solder side.
Below is a solder-side view of the area in question with the connections shown. Could someone advise me if this will work?

Looking at the schematic, d5 also links to Vi of IC8

I thought that by connecting D5 to C28 I would be covering that, as C28 connects to VI of IC8?
