Black Death (Chunk Chunk)

So here´s one of my newest toys. I built it during a holiday trip so I just went with the black box. Nothing but coldness and emptiness there. Also etched my own PCB as always. Not very clean innards, but it just matters to me how it sounds. I had bit of a task biasing the JFETs but after trying to sort them all with a multimeter checking the right values I just let it go and did it all by ear. I got rid of all the hiss and maybe lost some gain, but the thing has such high gain anyways I´m really happy with the results soundwise. Not the greatest quality images out there either.

nice, the chunk chunk is a wicked circuit. if you had trouble biasing, try changing one of the JFETs with another one of the same time. JFETs can have wildly varying specs and sometimes you may get one that doesn't bias just right.
