MudBunny/ Mayo mid switch

I read on freestompboxes that the mid switch for flat mids is just running the high side of the tone stack with 2 caps in parrelel on a dpdt switch, the normal .0047 on one side for scooped and then two .0047 caps in parallel on the other side of the switch for flat mids..... does anyone have any experience with this? Does this sound correct..... I'm still kinda a noob but love to have my builds and mods work correctly the first time
