Hey y'all I'm finally getting around to building a Dreamtime and it turns out I don't have an 8.2nf cap. Is there another value I could use, like 10nf, or should I just wait to order the right value?

Looks like it's in the audio path coming out of the fv-1 into the TL074. Is it part of a high pass filter, or something else? Sorry if my questions are dumb. Dumb questions lead to important questions and I'm just a little bird trying to jump out of the nest

It's a low pass filter, so the corner freq. here is just below 20kHz. You can use a 10n cap in place of the 8n2. It will drop the high end rolloff to around 15kHz. Or use 10n and make that 1k resistor 680R if you have one to keep roughly the same spec as the original.

I wouldn't be able to hear the difference since the highest freq. I can hear (at 50) is just above 14kHz. YMMV depending on your age, haha.

Thanks Brian! I'm gonna blast a 10n in there. I doubt I have a 680R in 1/8w so I'll just roll with it
