That was the start of the "flanger" era.  When I saw him do "Somebody's Calling" on "Midnight Special" he used white noise thru a flanger and just kicked it on and off as needed.

Besides Robin Trowers really great tone, the songs are really great and all of the albums he has released in the last five years are really good. Coming closer to the day has been in heavy rotation around here.
